According to the statistics of the annual report made by the municipal republic security bureau, in 2000 Guiyang City had 848166 households in total, in which Nanming District had 127299 (15.01%); Yunyan District had 136280 (16.07%); Baiyun District had 43492 (5.13%); Huaxi District had 66291 (7.82%); Wudang District had 77241 (9.11%); Xiaohe District had 35035 (4.13%); Kaiyang County had 106051 (12.50%); Xifeng County had 62970 (7.42%); Xiuwen County had 69004 (8.14%); Qingzhen City had 124503 (14.68%). Compared with the last year, Guiyang increased by 18614 households in total (+2.24%), in which Nanming District increased by 4418 (+3.60%); Yunyan District increased by 248 (+0.18%); Baiyun District decreased by 145 (-0.33%); Huaxi District decreased by 578 (-0.86%); Wudang District increased by 1509 (+1.90); Xiaohe District increased by 4870 (+16.14%); Kaiyang County increased by 1603 (+1.53%); Xifeng County increased by 2588 (+4.29%); Xiuwen County increased by 766 (+1.12%); Qingzhen City increased by 3335 (+2.75%).
